- Family run estate
- Indigenous local varieties
- Excellent value for money
This ‘Crianza’, made from 100% hand-harvested Tempranillo, possesses bags of ripe black fruit along with notes of balsamic, cocoa and liquorice. Having spent 12 months in a mixture of French and American barrels, fruit and oak are perfectly integrated, while good levels of acidity provide freshness and elegance to the finish.
Producer: Diaz Bayo
The Díaz Bayo family has been cultivating vines for four generations in the legendary village of Fuentelcesped. They produce unique wines made from Tempranillo grapes, known locally as Tinto Fino, as well as experimenting with indigenous varieties such as Albillo.
