A lovely creamy Spanish artisan blue with a moderate bite and good complexity.
Produced in a remote area of Asturias in northern Spain from cow's milk, La Peral is made at a family dairy using artisan methods. Wheels are matured for 2-5 months. Flavours are wonderfully rich, creamy and distinct. With age, these flavours can become much more assertive, occasionally pretty wild.
Enjoy La Peral with port and similar sweet wines.
