The Supreme Champion at the International Cheese Awards 2019.
Wyfe of Bath is an absolutely superb cows’ milk cheese and England’s answer to the Dutch gouda.
Deep-golden in colour, its paste is firm and dense with occasional holes. Wyfe of Bath has a rich and nutty in flavour redolent of "buttercups and summer meadows", that tends to linger leaving a pleasant buttery aftertaste.
Enjoy Wyfe of Bath with elegant red or medium-bodied white wines.
Wyfe of Bath is made at Park Farm where they take a traditional approach both to how they raise and graze their small herd of 160 mainly Holstein Friesian cows and to their artisan, handmade, hands-on cheesemaking.
The farm is entirely organic and registered with Organic Farmers and Growers. That means no fungicides, pesticides or artificial fertilisers are used on the land. Instead they use manure and organic compost: the environment, the land and the waterways remain uncontaminated. The milk and cheeses are produced in a way that protects our natural world and lets every farm animal feel the sun on its back.

Due to the relatively small scale of our cheese and condiment producers, occasionally some cheeses and condiments may be unavailable and we will have to substitute them with similar products. Please state in the notes on the Cart page, if you do not wish to have any substitutions.
