The Cheese Lady's Recommended Pairings
Viognier Estate, Deakin Estate, Victoria, Australia
A fragrant wine displaying classic Viognier scents of apricot, honeysuckle, and hints of orange peel. The palate offers a plush and opulent experience, while maintaining excellent equilibrium and concluding with a revitalising finish.
Producer: Deakin Estate
Deakin Estate first came to life in 1967, growing grapes that were then sold to other producers. They took matters in to their own hands in 1994 when the decision was made to begin producing wines under their own label, taking full advantage of their incredible Victorian terroirs near the Murray River.
Their range is now regarded as offering up some of the best value for money on the Australian scene; wines that offer supreme versatility when it comes to drinking with or without food.
