St. Bernardus Wit, 33cl
Complex. Honeyed. Summery.Regular price £2.71
Savour the refreshing taste of St. Bernardus Wit, a traditional wheat beer that boasts a whitish-yellow color and a dense, white head.
This beer has a wheaty aroma, with hints of apple-like tartness and herbal-spicy notes of coriander and orangey fruitness. It also features a honeyish sweetness that balances out the flavors perfectly.
Developed in cooperation with Master Brewer Pierre Celis, the Godfather of Hoegaarden and Celis White, this Witbier undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle, which gives it a unique taste and a 5.5% alcohol content.
St. Bernardus has a rich history connected to two Trappist breweries, Mont Des Cats (Cheese) and the infamous Westvleteren (Beer). After World War II, the Trappist monastery of St. Sixtus in Westvleteren looked to commercialize their beers, and St. Bernardus stepped in to help.
Experience the unique flavors and rich history of St. Bernardus Wit, and discover why it's one of the most beloved wheat beers in the world.
