The cheese that is used in the famous potato gratin dish from France, called Tartiflette.
Reblochon de Savoie is an Alpine cheese that has been made since the 13th century. However, it had been unheard of until the French Revolution as it had been made by farmers in secret (due to a milk tax).
Today, Reblochon de Savoie is an incredibly popular cheese in France and worldwide.
The paste of our artisan Reblochon is rich and luscious with sweet nutty notes that are long and lingering. The outside of the cheese is washed during maturation to give it an orangey rind and its memorable flavour.
Enjoy Reblochon de Savoie with fruity red wines or a medium-bodied white wines.
