A well-known farmhouse cheese made with milk from the farm’s own herd of Friesian and Kerry cows. During aging the cheese is regularly washed in brine which helps it develops a distinctive orange rind and wonderfully pungent aroma.
The smooth semi-firm paste is sweet slightly herbal with a meaty finish.
Due to the relatively small scale of our cheese and condiment producers, occasionally some cheeses and condiments may be unavailable and we will have to substitute them with similar products. Please state in the notes on the Cart page, if you do not wish to have any substitutions.
