An exceptional mountain cheese that dates back to the Middle Ages.
Our Fontina is an artisan cheese, created using traditional methods. It is a wonderfully nutty and aromatic semi-firm cheese made from raw milk of Italian Valdostana cows that spend their days grazing high on the alpine pastures. The texture is bouncy and feels smooth and creamy on the palate delighting with a full-on nutty flavour.
It is beautiful cheese for a cheeseboard and the essential ingredient of the famous Italian dish fonduta.
