Joseph Perrier Champagne Brut 'Cuvee Royal' | Champagne France NV | 12% ABV

About the Champagne

Joseph Perrier Cuvée Royale Brut is an elegant and beautifully balanced Champagne, bringing together 35% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 30% Meunier from more than 20 different crus.

Pale golden in the glass with delicate copper highlights, it opens with enticing aromas of apple, pear and white peach.

The palate is fresh yet generous, combining ripe orchard fruit with delicate white flowers and a wonderfully fine effervescence.

Around 20% reserve wines add depth and complexity, while 36 months of cellar ageing and a restrained dosage of 7g/l create a refined, harmonious finish.

Beautiful as an aperitif but with enough character to accompany a meal, it is particularly lovely with Parmesan and other mature, savoury cheeses.

About the Champagne House

Founded in 1825 in Châlons-en-Champagne, Joseph Perrier is an independent, family-owned Champagne house now led by the sixth generation of the family, Benjamin Fourmon.

The house has remained relatively small and quietly prestigious, producing Champagnes defined by elegance, freshness and balance. Its historic cellars are carved into ancient chalk quarries beneath the hillside in Châlons, providing naturally ideal conditions for the long maturation of its wines.

The name Cuvée Royale reflects one of the most distinguished chapters in the house’s history: Joseph Perrier Champagnes were enjoyed by Queen Victoria and King Edward VII, earning the house the right to use the prestigious ‘Royal’ name.

Nearly two centuries after its foundation, Joseph Perrier remains a wonderfully understated Champagne house, combining family tradition with the finesse and craftsmanship of classic Champagne.
