A wonderful creamy artisan blue cheese with a mellow nature.
First created by a husband and wife team, Louis and Jane Grubb, today this cheese is made by their daughter and her team who make this distinctive full-fat blue cheese from the rich milk provided by their pedigree Friesian cows.
The cheese has a lusciously creamy texture. It’s well marbled with blue moulds which give the cheese a nutty, slightly sweet and a bit earthy taste. Because the cheese is matured in the coolest part of the cellar with high humidity it develops an almost melting consistency, which is absolutely to die for.
