L’Etivaz is The authentic Gruyere, quintessential Alpine-style cheese.

Produced by hand over an open fire from May to October in just over a hundred Alpine dairies according to a traditional recipe. The raw milk is treated directly in the dairy and is bursting with aromas of fine Alpine herbs. Its golden yellow paste is smooth, dense and dotted with protein crystals. Nutty, meaty, lingering, the flavour of this cheese is rich and complex. It’s very versatile when it comes to pairing with wine. Excellent sith aromatic white wines and full-bodied reds.
