The name originates from the small town where the cheese was first produced and sold. Made from cows’ milk and enriched with cream this little round is decadently creamy. Underneath its thin skin the cheese has a soft buttery creamy paste with a mushroomy notes that may become runny and silky at full ripeness. Enjoy with some crusty bread and an elegant red wine.
